Please contact us to discuss your requirements. | Since 4 January 2009, air conditioning inspections have been a legal requirement for any system with an effective rated output of 250kW or more. For systems with a rated output of 12kW or more, the first inspection must be done by 4 January 2011. Inspections must be carried out by an accredited air conditioning inspector at least once every five years. For all systems first put into service on or after 1 January 2008, the first inspection must have taken place within five years of the date when it was first put into service. For the purposes of these regulations, all air-conditioning units within a building controlled by a single person count as a single air-conditioning system. An air conditioning inspection and its accompanying report are designed to provide building owners or managers with basic information on the efficiency of their air-conditioning systems, together with advice on how to improve the energy efficiency or effectiveness of these systems. | ||||
